I lived at The Domain at Midtown for 3 years. When I first moved in, it was a quiet, well-kept property with nice amenities. But over time, the place completely went downhill.
After a couple of management changes, Greystar took over and things fell apart. They don’t answer the phone, ignore emails, and even when you show up in person, the staff has no answers and no follow-through. Customer service is basically nonexistent.
The pool turned into a nonstop party zone. Loud, drunken crowds blasting music so loud I couldn’t hear my TV inside my own apartment. I work from home and like to read, and the noise made it impossible to focus or relax. I filed multiple complaints—nothing was done. When I tried to handle it myself, I was harassed and threatened right at my patio. I sent management photos and video, and they still did nothing.
The gates were broken most of the time, left wide open for anyone to walk in. I personally saw homeless people trying to enter buildings. Safety was clearly not a concern.
They also installed new “water-saving” toilets that were so small they were basically unusable for me. I asked for a replacement, and it took 4 months to get it done.
To make matters worse, Dallas police won’t respond unless the situation is life-threatening, so I had no support or options when it came to the constant noise and disruption. I eventually felt I had no choice but to move out.
This place has turned into a ghetto. What started as a nice place to live is now loud, unsafe, and mismanaged. I absolutely do not recommend it.
