I have had dealings with a large amount of recruitment consultancies. Some of them are pleasant, some of them can be pushy. None are as abhorrent and unprofessional as Greywoods Associates. After they arranged for me to attend a face to face interview with 2 days notice which was inconvenient for me, I decided I was no longer going to work with them, it was at this point they decided to act with an amount of malice which would make Beelzebub proud, not only did they inform my employer at the time that I was actively seeking work, they also told a prospective employer not to consider me as I am an “unreliable candidate”.
I immediately rang the recruiter who I was dealing with at Greywoods, Monica, and asked her to remove me from her database. After hearing a rather aggressive diatribe from her about how I lost her a client, she reluctantly agreed to remove me from her database. I had hoped this would be the last I would hear from Greywoods; if it were, I may not have been quite so motivated to write this review.
After continuous, refused attempts from Monica to reignite a relationship with me, I am now receiving phone calls from her colleagues at my new place of employment, telling the receptionist they were a friend of mine in order to guarantee they would get through to me. Andy I do not know you and given that you work in the seventh circle of hell, I do not want to know you. Ringing my office, whilst I am at work when I have been working with my current employer only a couple of months feels like nothing short of a violation.
For those of you looking for work, I would deeply advise you do not let your details fall into the claws of Greywoods associates and if they do I hope they place you with a role, because if they don’t they will stalk you and attempt to ruin your life. Scum.
