Catherine saw my resume and was all over me like a rash. She wanted me to interview for a job that I knew was not my area of expertise and coached me on what I should say to the interviewers to convince them I was right for the role. I told her I wasn’t sure about it but she insisted I interview for it anyway. Went for the interview and I knew it had been just okay so I called Catherine to give her the feedback. She didn’t take my call or any other call for the next fortnight. She dropped me like a hot potato and didn’t even have the courtesy to call me and tell me I didn’t get the job. It was extremely unprofessional behaviour. As it happens, I’m glad it didn’t work out because I ended up in a great role that’s streets ahead of the role she had on offer. I’d never use her again though and I warn all my colleagues and clients to steer clear of Greenfields.
