I will never use Glassdoor again. This site claims to value authenticity and integrity, but my experience proves otherwise. Rather than being a platform that empowers workers, Glassdoor prioritizes protecting companies—especially those that pay for their services—over allowing real, honest voices to be heard. I submitted a truthful, firsthand review based on my personal experience, only to have my account deactivated for it. The justification? An accusation that I was “manipulating the conversation.” That’s not just unfair—it’s blatant censorship. Instead of supporting transparency, Glassdoor actively suppresses reviews that don’t align with corporate interests. If you’re looking for a site that genuinely supports employees and job seekers, this isn’t it. Glassdoor has made it clear that they care more about maintaining their business relationships than providing an honest, unbiased platform. I’ll be sharing my experience elsewhere so others are aware of how Glassdoor treats users who come to their site in good faith. If you want a platform that truly values transparency, look elsewhere.

Glassdoor has been approving and quietly removing the public accessibility of employee reviews for years now. This company has a D- BBB grade FOR A REASON. Even if you follow every community guideline for writing your review and it is approved by Glassdoor, it doesn’t matter! The reviewed employer will just contact Glassdoor and complain about the ‘tone’ of your review in order to have it removed from public eye. This is a sham in the disguise of a business, similar to how HR operates to deceive you into believing you as an employee will be treated with decency, Glassdoor will deceive you into believing that your voice and experiences matter.

wow, it’s really hard to figure out how to actually review Glassdoor, since you can’t review them on their own website without them covering their own butts and deleting comments. anyhoo, Glassdoor is racist and allows awful reviews to stay up.
