What’s the point of a delivery system if there’s no attempt or effort made to actually get the package to the customer? I provided my phone #, my condo buzzer # and instructions, and ensured I was home the day of delivery. I know there was no attempt, as the buzzer is connected to my phone and I didn’t receive anything all day – then I check the online portal at 2pm and there’s a “customer not at home” notice and a “missed delivery” slip on the front door. I’ll be making a conscious effort to avoid ordering from companies that use your service.

I bought a bike in a box online and it was shipped from ON to Alberta by Canpar. First few days there was no updates besides the last processing in Torono. I guess the package was either on the truck or a plane, but there were no updates between Toronto and Calgary. Then I saw the update about the package arrfving in Calgary and that it will be delivered on the next day. I missed the delivery and the driver called me and we agreed he’d take it to their warehouse inear the airport where I can pick it up on the next day. He left the delivery notice on the front door of my apartment building. I went to the warehouse on the next day and had no issues collecting my bike. The box had some minor damage, but I don’t think it was Canpar’s fault: the way the bike was packaged, there was empty space inside the box. They did mark the package as fragile, so I don’t think I’ll have a problem with the bike (I haven’t looked inside yet). All in all, not a terrible experience.

Customer service is awful, they won’t even put a number on file for a delivery driver to contact you, they expect you to wait at home all day. Whoever answers the phone is a complete delight to speak with as well. Would recommend any other delivery service other than this one.
