I can say without a shadow of a doubt, that working at Genesys Consulting is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Being fresh out of college I believed the same thing all our parents told us millennials. “Get a degree and the rest will figure itself out.” With that logic I was working in a call center with little hope to find another industry to break into. Then comes Genesys to help me start my career! I reached out to one of the recruiters and I ended up finding a position with their administrative staff. Now I work in HR developing new skills and taking on new projects every day. My only regret is I didn’t find Genesys sooner. We treat our consultant’s with respect and we pride ourselves as being one of the top IT Consulting businesses in the Albany, NY area.

I have been with Genesys since April 2015. I have had great experience dealing with every single administrative staff at Genesys. The best part is that the company is local and has an office centrally located in Albany. I have been working on state projects as a contractor but have been Genesys consulting’s full time employee. I work on hourly pay rate. Even though I am not their salaried employee, they go above and beyond to have me placed on a project. State contracts have a limited time frame (mostly 2 years), and some get renewed while others do not. Genesys recruiters are always aware of each consultant’s situation and are looking out for any new positions open to minimize the gap between projects. Jenny, in particular, is constantly after you if you are nearing the end of the contract and need a new one to continue employment. She will constantly be emailing, calling, and even texting you with any updates regarding new positions upcoming. Leo, the vice president, is easily reachable and very helpful. Crista, who I contact with any administrative issues is great to deal with and helps resolve the issues quickly. Overall, Genesys is a great company to be associated with to work on IT projects. They treat you like humans, not numbers like many other companies that have grown like mushrooms in the IT consulting industry. If you are not working with Genesys, you need to reevaluate your current employer. From their senior management to HR to Payroll, they continue to impress me by their professionalism, transparency, and customer service, not to mention their employee centered policies, pay, and benefits. Genesys is my employer of choice and the company I want representing me.
