Instead, if you are polite, soft-spoken, or take time to learn, you’re seen as weak — and people push extra work onto you or dominate you. 👎 Here’s what I personally faced: – Forced to stand for 10+ hours daily, with just 20–30 minutes of break instead of the promised 45 mins – HR at the Lower Parel branch was completely unresponsive to messages and in-person requests – I was given a small-size t-shirt as a uniform, which was tight and uncomfortable – I requested for a replacement on WhatsApp but received no reply – I again requested in person at the back office the next day, and HR said my size was not available – I even requested an oversized t-shirt, promising I would adjust it myself — but they refused – Instead, I was told vaguely that “we’ll provide a uniform in the coming days”, which never happened – I had to work every day in that uncomfortable t-shirt – GRE staff was very strict and scolded harshly if you were late, without understanding your struggle – Wearing the uniform from home got us scolded, but changing at work took extra time and added weight to our bags I joined with the mindset to stay for at least 1 year, grow, and perform well — but I left because I was never treated like a learner, only like a burden. ✅ Only the cinema manager and duty officer showed some basic professionalism. The rest — especially HR and senior staff — made the environment mentally exhausting. Not recommended for any fresher who is calm, respectful, quiet, or genuinely wants to learn and grow.
