So many 1 star reviews by people who were upset that they didn’t get rich quick. I’ve been using Fundrise since 2018 and my experience has been nothing but positive. I’ve even withdrawn large sums from my account twice, both times to help with the down payment on a new home. You do have to plan ahead for withdrawals since they can take a few weeks or months, but real estate is an inherently illiquid investment so that’s not surprising.

Pretty bad service all around. Over 3 years I lost money. I would have made more in a regular savings account. I decided to reallocate my investment and it’s now been 4 months and I still have not received my money. I put the request in in December and now it is telling me they are not even going to process or acknowledge it until April. Given how the real estate market has jumped and went up over the last few years and i lost money tells me this is not a viable investment for anyone looking to make money from their money. Do yourself a favor and do your own research on other forms of investing and do not drop any money into this platform. It will not grow and it will be like pulling teeth if you ever want or need it.

Horrible performance and redemption process. Lost x% after 3 years of dollar cost averaging into several of their funds while paying their high (~2%) fees. The redemption process of quarterly withdrawal + 60 day review and wait time is a joke. Once I get my money back in May (currently Feb), I look forward to deploying with any number of better companies/products in the market and hope to persuade others to avoid the mistake of investing with Fundrise in the meantime.
