Needs to get with the times and have an online application process. Having to print, fill out paperwork and meet a recruiter in a fast food parking lot without them even leaving their vehicle is a bit suspicious. They got me an interview which went well and the person interviewing me welcomed me aboard. The recruiter called me to go for drug test somewhere not near my home and I needed to get transportation so I told him I would call him to let him know when I could get there. He then text me and told me the position was closed and dont bother with the drug test. Unprofessional and weird SOP.

Regardless of what I contacted First Choice about, I should have been treated with respect. However, since I have been asked for an explanation, I will provide one in hopes of changing the owner’s attitude or deterring others from using this company. I called in regards to a job which stated it used First Choice as a staffing agency. The employee whom I spoke with was immediately disgruntled and rude. He stated that they had never worked with the company I was calling about. He felt the need to tell me this as if I had accused him of murder, raising his voice aggressively. I calmly explained that I only called because First Choice was the name on the website for the job. I took a screen shot to prove that I wasn’t the crazy one. He later texted a paragraph to me, telling me that I could call every company named First Choice in the whole country if I was so determined to figure it out. I believe that the tirade I received after a simple question, combined with the unnecessarily aggressive text is sufficient to warrant a one star review.

I sent this company a copy of my resume as they requested, and their email correspondence was very horrid in the terms of being overly rude and unprofessional. They lack the literacy and comprehension of the understanding what a resume is, they told me I did not follow direction. They asked me to submit my resume which I did and then they asked what type of work I am looking for and I told them. I guess I am missing something ?????? Very rude email
