Unit 304 has termites, that’s the main reason we left, the other reason has to do with miscommunication or lack of communication from Essex management. The security cameras don’t work and homeless people are constantly doing drugs in the back alley on the stairs. I’ve had my car broken into more than once. I’ve had my bike stolen. I have video evidence of a stabbing taking place out front. My car caught video of an angry gunman roaming the garage with his weapon in hand. The upstairs neighbors often play music way too loud and stink up the place with weed. They scream like children when they play video games. This is not worth the cost of the rent. Tenants wash dog items in the laundry room and leave hair in the machines. They advertise a gym but it’s in another building 3 blocks away. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance crew- they do their best and I appreciate them. Everything else about this place is lack luster and not worth coming home to.

In searching for apartments, you hope to get respect from leasing agents. Essex Properties has some terrible reviews and my experience w/their leasing department is an extension of that. I confirmed for one property and they were sending me to another property. The self-guided tour resulted in me trying three codes to get in the door – non of which worked. The leasing agent was very apologetic but if your doors don’t open for potential tenants – it’s not a great sign. Perhaps reviews will help the company do better. Again, the leasing agent was apologetic but the reality is my time was wasted and their systems don’t work. Do better.

We love living at Miracle Mile Windsor Court. We’ve been here two years now and it’s been a really great experience. The location is perfect being close to shopping and parks but the best thing about our building is the maintenance crew. Daisy is always so pleasant and helpful and the place is spotlessly clean everyday. She is a joy and a treasure. Juan and the rest of the maintenance crew are amazing as well. I’ve always received a prompt response for any issue and they fix any issue immediately. They are always respectful and kind and give us a sense of safety and community.
