We had a signed contract for temporary hygiene services with Complete Dental Staffing for half the month of July. That contract was not honored by CDS due to a lapse in their internal communication. The error was discovered three weeks before the start date of July 12 and CDS did not get us another hygienist and broke the contract.
From what I gather, communication with clients is handled with one person, and staffing personnel another. CDS blamed the mistake on the staffed hygienist and claimed she was unreliable and ‘no longer worked for them.’ None of that was true. We previously worked with the hygienist, who was excellent, and was never informed of our contact dates. I found the conduct of CDS to be unprofessional, didn’t appreciate the lying, and think their internal communication is at risk for this type of error repeating. Previously, we had another scheduling error with this group.
If you choose to use Complete Dental Staffing, I would suggest confirming with the staffed person coming to your office to make sure there is no error. CDS will resist this but it is a simple protection measure. We have had a much better experience with Kwickly, a staffing platform. Generally, the hygienists from Kwickly were savvier with technology than their CDS counterparts. We had no scheduling issues.
