If this company approaches you, RUN. Here’s my experience:
Rachael approached me on LinkedIn and asked to set up a phone interview. I agreed and we talked the next day. She told me about the position she was staffing, and said “if you’re interested, send over a resume and work samples”. I wasn’t interested, so I didn’t send anything over.
She proceeds to call me twice before noon (and leaves a message saying that if I didn’t respond by noon, she’d assume I wasn’t interested), and then again at three.
Here’s the kicker: at 3:43 I got a call from a different number. I answered, and it was a guy who said he was with Apex. He asked me if I had heard of a company, and then said, “hey, lemme call you back; I have a meeting at 3:45”.
THEN, Rachael calls again and said basically, “I had my friend from Apex call you and he said you sounded interested. I guess you’re just not interested in working with Kforce”.
NO, I’M NOT, PLEASE STOP CALLING ME. It’s been borderline harassment, and the fact that you tricked me into answering the phone by GIVING MY PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER away to a stranger makes me never want to work with a recruiter again.
Rachael and this random person from Apex have been blocked.
Thank u, next.
