My Lyme had been misdiagnosed by another practice and totally wrecked my health even after several rounds of antibiotics. I was feeling totally hopeless until being referred to Turnpaugh. Doctor Ross was thorough, caring and respectful of my concerns as a patient. He helped me define a plan and a path forward for my health. Together we have seen major progress in my Lyme disease to the point that it is in remission. There were even a few times as we reviewed blood work that I teared up because I was so relieved to see the evidence of improvement in my health. I started seeing Amy Montgomery about a year ago. She has literally saved my life! I was diagnosed with SIBO, GERD and have had multiple food poisonings over the years that led to my gut flora being essentially wiped out. I was not able to work for several months due to these symptoms. I spent almost a year in the care of a local gastroenterologist, and instead of helping me, the course of treatment exacerbated my symptoms. The gastro dr. put me on unnecessarily high doses of several kinds of medication. Over the course of this past year, Amy has used her expertise to put me on a regimen of supplements & probiotics, helped to coordinate multiple visits with the nutritionist at Turnpaugh, and ordered several important tests to get to the root cause of my symptoms. She is very knowledgeable about which supplements work best for your symptoms, and is highly skilled at interpreting data taken from the Biome Fx test. Anytime I have a question or need advice, she responds quickly via the patient portal. Honestly, I don’t know where I would be without her guidance and support over this last year. In addition, the staff at Turnpaugh is phenomenal. They are very welcoming and helpful. The supplement store is also staffed with friendly employees & always have my order ready on time.
