I have been working with Favorite agency as a CNA for a couple of months now, and I must say they are not a bad agency. One thing I like about them is that they do W’2S and take out your taxes! , which many other agencies don’t. The pay is currently between $22 and $23 per hour, which is good. They use to do $25 but anything over $20 is good for a CNA. They select good facilities to work at, but they do cancel shifts a lot. However, they make sure that you can pick up another shift on the same day or later. I personally enjoy working with them because of their flexibility. I make a lot of money and I also love doing the good deeds as well for the residents. So it plays out good at the end for me and the residents I meet. The reviews are low, but I’m sure there are other agencies who pay more but not all do W2’S.

Drove 1.5 hours to get a call they cancelled 10 minutes from the location. For CNAS that’s only 20 dollars because it’s cheaper for us to travel than let’s say RNS we get less? No exceptions that’s the policy they said multiple times. Please read all of the reviews they allow these cancellations and don’t even take care of their staff the lady who called wasn’t even apologetic. 20 dollars didn’t cover gas better better yet tolls, mileage, or my time. They offered for me to drive another 30 minutes to a shift that started a hour later so I would have wasted another hour of my time with no pay and then they wouldn’t even pay the 20 for the cancelled shift. The new shift was only 8 hours compared to the 12 I signed up for. The other shift they offered was also 9 dollars less in pay. Less hours, less pay, more of my unpaid time, and not even a apology. Nonchalantly said the facility I picked up at has been doing this a lot. So again I say they don’t care for their staff or they would have put a end to this long before it became the normal. Agencies are a blessing while you’re in school but I choose the wrong one don’t make my mistake and allow them to take advantage of you. Other agencies pay up to half the shift and because of that they take precautions from allowing facilities to cancel last minute and waste your time.

I feel so disrespected!! The lies that I have discovered in this contract. This is why CNAs are quitting and not working health care. To drive across the country to a contract only to find out that the other company is paying stipends and are making more money leads me to believe that you are stealing from me and pocketing money that belongs to me. Which this company has done before. You live and you learn and as for me, moving forward I have trust issues because too many things that were supposed to be aren’t! I am OVER IT!! Never again!! I have been taking advantage of and it’s sad.
