I had a horrible experience at this place. Who, in their right mind, except maybe someone who is completely desperate, would continue on in this experience after what they did? Definitely not me. I showed up thinking I was going in for an interview and I was met with a secretary telling me that they could not speak with me because I did not bring two forms of ID!! Immediately my red flags started going up. No one told me, first of all to bring this information, secondly who requests this on first meeting someone?!? How unprofessional! They ended up waving the need for a second form of ID, but I didn’t get an interview, no one to talk to me or learn about me, I was just a number in their scheme to lure me by a fake job posting or something that had already been filled in order to use me for any other TEMP position. No explanations, they need to do better. Wow- this company is dirty. Unless you’re in a very desperate situation- find a real job, a real company that will interview you the old fashioned way, talk to you, explore your strengths and weaknesses and then offer you a position and THEN maybe ask for your social security card! Just wow- I have no words.

Honestly, I was a little apprehensive towards staffing agencies prior to signing up with Express Employment Professionals in Raleigh, NC. I had applied to several other agencies, but unfortunately they were of no help to me during my job search (no call backs, disinterest in finding decent opportunities, unprofessional, etc.). However, I’m grateful that I pushed my concerns aside and pursued an opportunity with this staffing agency. The amount of care, detail, and assistance I received from all of the staff was remarkable! Special shout out to Jennifer, who was so kind and helped me graciously with the paperwork process every step of the way! Also, another positive acknowledgment towards Ms. Warren for her time, care, and advice. She helped make this process truly pleasurable for me and made me feel like I was more than just a number. After my first meeting with her, I no longer felt nervous and actually felt encouraged to continue with the job search. I can tell the staff here cares and they add a personalized touch to everything that they do.
