My experience with your employment service has been profoundly disappointing. Despite consistent contact – three times monthly – I have received neither follow-up nor opportunity. It appears your focus lies with candidates possessing specific pedigrees, while my extensive blue-collar experience has been demonstrably disregarded. Though your staff maintains a veneer of politeness, the implicit message is clear: my practical, hands-on expertise is deemed inferior. Let me be explicit. I will no longer tolerate being treated as a second-class candidate. My background is not one to be casually dismissed. I am a highly accomplished individual with a diverse and demonstrably successful career. I have professionally scaled the tallest trees in North America, achieving a #2 ranking in California as a certified arborist. I have battled some of the continent’s largest wildfires, restored historical trading trails, and revitalized salmon habitats through environmental restoration projects. I have supervised crews of 30-40 workers, achieved social media prominence during peak trends on a globally recognized platform, and traversed the United States as a workforce development consultant for a tree service company. Furthermore, I contributed to the development of one of North America’s most respected heavy-duty roll-off container manufacturing plants. Therefore, forgive my “small self-expression,” as you might condescendingly label it. Your agency’s incompetent handling of my candidacy is frankly insulting. Given my documented achievements, I find it difficult to believe I am unqualified for any placement you offer. I suggest a thorough reevaluation of your intake processes and a serious consideration of the talent you are so carelessly overlooking.
