They discreetly assert that initially they list job openings and then instruct people to register with them. However, after registration, they merely find people, but do not secure jobs for them. This is a waste of time.

This review is solely to warn the potential employees of ESP. I strongly suggest for you NOT to deal with a lady named ‘Liz’ from ESP Recruitment in Hallam. As her job, she set me up with a temporary role for 2 weeks with a company. Once my time at the company was up, I ask Liz when I would see the remuneration for the services I provided. Liz replied extremely apologetic and said she had forgotten. I remained polite and asked Liz if she could please sort this out as I needed these funds before Christmas. Liz replied the following day informing me she has processed the amount and I will be seeing funds the following day. Liz also informed me to ‘NEVER’ contact ESP again, and to ‘NEVER’ return to the company I had been with for that time. I asked Liz why she was asking me to NEVER contact ESP again? and I also asked if she was bitter because I asked politely for the remuneration for the services I provided? I never was unprofessional, I followed protocol and the client of ESP I was working for offered me a permanent position! I was extremely shocked, insulted and intimidated with the way Liz replied, it was toxic and weird (because she was so lovely before that). I actually blocked her number because I literally did not want to see her reply. What makes this situation worse, is I contacted someone named Georgia at ESP, who told me she was the manager because I wanted some feedback onto why I was treated like this and I wanted to understand why. Georgia did NOT care, and also NEVER got back to me. I tried to email ESP asking for a direct email to a manager I could discuss an issue with, and never got a reply. So the best I can do, is just to warn any potential employee’s looking for work, is not to necessarily put your trust in all the people at ESP, or even look for another recruitment company (there are plenty). In saying that, I know there are some lovely workers at ESP, but as I did not get an apology, response or feedback, I suggest not dealing with Liz.
