Most positive experience I have had with a staffing agency. I was unhappily working for a company and scared to move on. I had missed the great exit after covid. Job opportunities had slowed, and I was not well-versed in job searching. I had put it on the back burner, thinking I missed the opportunity to change jobs. Equis recruiter reached out to me talking about a great opportunity as well as asked me what I was looking for in a job and coworkers. I was honest and skeptical. She really listened to me and to what the company wanted from the applicant. Convinced me I would be a good fit and asset to the company, as much as they would be a good fit and asset to me. Best decision I have made in a long time. I took a chance, listened and believed that Jamie had my best interests, and I am happily poached and employed now. I was contracted for 16 months before hired permanently. Recruiter always checked in to make sure I was happy and job going well (checked in monthly). She reassured me in what I was doing was received positively from my new company and coworkers. Payroll team was easy to get ahold of and talk to about timekeeping and pay. Most interaction was online and by phone and professionally executed. If I ever find myself needing assistance again, I will reach out to Equis. I have even provided their information to fellow job seekers.

Not recommended. I had quite a few bad experiences with this company some years ago. Compared to some other agencies doing similar business, they are awful. Some nice people work there, but the way they do staffing leaves a LOT to be desired. Update: thank you for the reply, Equis, but you have work to do. I’m glad you have a positive attitude as a staffing agency. But you really need a better approach. Hopefully sometime you find it and if you do, you’ll be up on a par with some other (better) agencies.

My experience with my contract work through Equis Staffing has been very positive. The whole process has been smooth and easy with excellent communication and prompt responses to any questions or needs I have had.
