I had a very negative experience a few years ago and “thanked” them with a corresponding review. I was all the more pleasantly surprised when the managing director contacted me recently. Not with a threat because of the negative review, but quite the opposite – to say that high levels of satisfaction are important to him and that he apologized for the cold-blooded behavior of his colleague at the time. His words were followed by actions, and the position was filled outside the “guarantee period” to my complete satisfaction. Respect for this concession; it’s anything but a given – hence, a 1-star rating instead of a 5-star rating.
