10 minute wait for inspection and clearance (4 cars and one RV were ahead of us). Officer was polite, asked questions were completely reasonable, and the process was all in all very efficient. I would use this border crossing again.

The customs officers at this border will detain, question you and treat you like trash if you are not white.
We were made to wait for over 8 hours while being told we could not get food or water, questioned the entire time with simple things found by looking inside a passport, and then rudely released.
The form you are given when you enter the building says you are expected to be treated with professionalism and courtesy. Yeah, no. They treat you like you’re a criminal until they give up and run out of crimes to try and charge you with.
Guilty until innocent sort of situation, literally ALL of the reviews say how the Canadians are 100x better, believe it. If you are a person of color DO NOT GO TO THIS BORDER CROSSING. YOU WILL BE HELD AGAINST YOUR WILL. Their searches are NOT random.

The officers are great. They’re professional, diligent, and even witty. Getting THROUGH the border in a timely fashion? Forget it. When tourist season kicks in all 3 borders in this area, it is backed up 45 minutes or more. It seems as though they can’t open all of the kiosks for the busiest times. I would suggest an expedited lane for those crossing daily for business, perhaps.
