Worked with Elite a few years back, had an okay job. The first time staff didn’t want to give me a position but after a long conversation they gave me one. Ended up moving before COVID hit ended up in Ukraine recently returned a few months ago. Decided to keep my head down and get back to work. Decided to go back to Elite in Hanover Park. It has been cat and mouse the first week tried sending me to a pizza place. That day I called in said they shut it down for a week. Decided okay I’d get some work done around the house. Second week after getting told no for two days I showed up Wednesday and was like ok I need work. They sent me to the pizza place got sick on the drive over. I thought about it came in the next morning told them what happened. I explained it was also a bit too far from me about a 40 min drive. They said they had a second shift coming up the following week and told me to check in with them Monday. Well it’s Monday they acted surprised about me not going to the pizza place, as if the previous conversation never happened…Then told me there was no second shift this week. Now I drove 40 mins back and forth to be in and out in 2 minutes. Then I watched them hand a application to a couple people when I was on the phone outside. To be perfectly frank and honest, it feels like I was singled out and feels like nepotism. I would highly recommend a thorough review and audit of their practices. I hope this warning doesn’t fall on deaf ears proceed with extreme caution.

Extremely racist. They give Americans a hard time. This staffing is now set up to help immigrants, and Latinos, everyone speaks little English. Orientation is done in Spanish and (poor translation english). They give Americans a hard time such as making them jump through multiple obstacles, but letting native Spanish speakers an opportunity immediately. 2024 and people still are not treated fairly.

Hi. This is Takesha Williams, and I was an employee with you all over three years ago, and I just became an employee again as of last Monday. Last Monday, I put an application in, and I needed help with one part of my application, they didn’t want to help me, but they helped men. Yesterday, I made it there and I was on time, I got distracted by someone I met on Facebook. The lady called me up and then told me to take a seat. Well, it sounded like she said take a seat. So I took a seat, waiting, then helped the lady with her application as much as I could. I was sitting for over an hour. When I realized that I was still sitting there, i went up to the front desk and asked did they called me The lady said that I was supposed to got on the bus. They watched me sit there and didn’t say anything. Then she started typing something in her computer. Told me to call 8:30 in the morning and said that I might not get sent out because I did a no call no show. I called this morning, they said they were booked for 2nd shift. This is a complaint for the office on 55th Street and Spaulding in Chicago Illinois. I will call at 9:00 as well.
