Worked with (3) other military branches before USCG Recruiting in Manhattan. After nearly 16 months of back and forth, both branches turned me down for age.
This USCG Recruiting Office took the time to get my waivers approved, got me the job and station I was looking for. All this was done in a very reasonable time frame.
I highly recommend US Coast Guard Recruiting Office to anyone who’s looking to join for active duty or reserve.

met with patrick dailey here about joining the coast guard and he informed me that the Coast Guard don’t recruit people who want to serve if they have credit card debt in collections. nonsense when the military operate there own banks and hand out loans to soldiers in the 6 figures…
