Beware of unfair practices of StartupJobs.cz! Our experience with this company is very negative. We placed an ad for a temp at a time when their website clearly stated “Free Trial” which led us to believe it was free advertising. However, after a few days, we received a call to pay a considerable amount for the alleged use of their service. We reacted immediately and refused the service, but StartupJobs.cz insisted that it was a binding payment, even though we had not agreed to anything like that. Instead of trying to find an amicable solution, they referred the case to a debt collection agency, which we consider to be unprofessional and unfair to customers. The whole situation gives the impression of misleading and deceptive marketing – users are lured into “free” services, only to face unexpected invoices and threats from enforcement agencies. Now the whole matter is handled by the Czech Trade Inspection and legal representation. If you have encountered similar behavior, we recommend that you contact the relevant authorities and defend yourself against these practices. I recommend avoiding this platform and looking elsewhere for advertising. Businesses that value their customers do not act this way. Thomas
