Where to begin. I am currently in the job market in search for a possible career change and/ or development into a leadership role. I have been exploring many options and scheduling phone screens, interviews and what not. I was excited when I came across a “hiring event” that I saw posted on Indeed with Contemporary Staffing solutions because it was advertised like a job fair with drinks and snacks, a large window of time, guaranteed interview for list of client roles. I figured this will be a good chance for an outsider to sit down with me and give me their feedback and see what else was out there. I scheduled my interview at 3:30 last Friday for the fair that was being held today. I was told to bring two forms of I’d and resume samples. Today comes, I had a few events to attend to today and made sure to coordinate my schedule so I can take the drive up to this location because I saw potential. First of all, I get a call late last night with a voicemail saying they need me to return the call. Returned the call but they are closed. Then late this morning I got an email saying I cannot interview without completing an application and getting a cal from someone. Well since I was in meetings all day I didn’t see this until later, still I sent in the application. I arrive at 330 and the receptionist is clueless as to why I am there. I didn’t see any other attendees and she asked me to wait as she called someone in the back to get the scoop. Apparently there was a meeting at 445 and I would have to wait ten minutes. After the meeting was done, they was no apology but a gal came to grab me and we sat in a tiny office to review my resume. She didn’t ask for my Id that I was told to bring, I didn’t meet with any cliente, I wasn’t provided with information on the jobs available and advertised at the $50k rate online. She then said the sales jobs available she was told an hour ago are no longer available so basically I drive all that way for nothing. She wrote down a few notes, And said we should connect and she’ll keep an eye out for positions for me. So far, nothing. No invite, email, or connection on social media. The trip was a complete waste of time and the company is completely unorganized.

Melissa is amazing at what she does!!! She is an angel in my eyes!! I sent her my resume and she was able to find me something right away! Provided me with interview coaching and the tools I needed to land the job!!! I would recommend Comtemporary Staffing to anyone struggling finding a job in this market.
