Be careful when booking this place. If you book it, you’d better be 100% sure you’ll go through with it — because once you pay, there is no getting your money back, even if you cancel well in advance. In our case, we had arranged to book part of the space on a day that was already booked by another production — meaning our booking was simply an add-on that generated extra income for them. Canceling our portion did not affect their main income for that day at all, yet they still refused to refund the booking fee when we canceled nearly two weeks ahead. Also worth noting: we previously booked their other location, Film Studio LA, and they demanded full payment before allowing us to come in for a tech scout. That policy felt very much like “let’s squeeze as much money as we can upfront.” If you are a larger union production, maybe this is manageable. But for indie or low-budget shoots, there are many standing sets and stages in LA that are far more flexible and easier to work with. Just sharing our experience so others can plan accordingly.

Worse location ever, big scamming company. Refuse to return booking and deposit money, we never used their facility and we canceled 3 weeks before. Funny thing is we are renting a room from them as our base camp while they have another production going. We try to negotiate with them but they blocked our number and ignored our request for deposit refund. We are suing them NOW! We are not backing down for those awful theft!!!!

These people are awful. The place is filthy. They charge you for everything. They give you tubes that they know that you have to place in high places but then they make you rent a ladder. Then they try to charge $375 for a cleaning fee if you just happen to leave a bag behind or one article. It’s obvious that they don’t use that cleaning fee to actually clean because the place hasn’t been touched in forever. The staff is totally unhelpful. I had to pick up and carry a light to the set because the bottom of it was rusted And told to be careful because it cost $10,000. They try to charge you extra if you’re not out of their parking lot by one minute past the hour That you’re booking ends. These people have come up with a multitude of ways to try to squeeze money from their clients. I find that there are many other places who have better facilities for a third of the price. My review of this place is that it’s awful. Find somewhere else. My advice… Don’t waste your time or money.
