I have volunteered for several weeks on Monday mornings with this operation. They also take volunteers on Tuesday mornings and once Thursday morning a month. They feed over 300 households weekly. The work varies depending on what you are doing but it can be strenuous if you have the muscles to offer (or low-key if you don’t). There is something for everybody and most age groups. You see first hand the fruits of your labor and how you will help others at each visit. I think it is incredibly rewarding and everybody is so friendly. Highly recommend is you are looking to give back somehow.
