As a manager forced to work with Cielo, they are nothing but an impediment to the hiring process. I do as much of their work as possible because all they do is mess up, every candidate. There is zero accountability and layers and layers of garbage designed to increase their billable hours by dragging out the process so long that the candidates accept jobs elsewhere rather than wait 6 weeks to get their automated references and background checks done. All the candidates come straight from Indeed anyway, literally the only thing Cielo does is get in the way. Frankly I want to quit my job because they have caused me to work nights, weekends, overtax my staff, blow my budget on incentive pay because they like leaving early on Fridays and won’t complete their work. I despise this company. They don’t care at all about their clients.

Cielo is in the business of sales (getting big company contracts),not recruiting.
Over the years I’ve worked with some of the top RPO companies in the world. This is not one of them as Cielo likes to claim. Not even close.
The company is too focused on appearing high tech with a fun work environment that they fail to use plain old common sense to resolve obvious, straight forward issues. Leadership at all levels is unprofessional and clueless about the challenges of the recruiting world. They spend a massive amount of resources on the latest tech tools and building their own ATS just to be able to maintain or obtain contracts regardless if they can obtain the promised results.
How about spending more resources trying to understand what candidates want from a company instead of chatting online gossiping about food, personal issues or pets?
I left this place feeling like I learned a lot of useless information from a very disfunctional workplace.

Was led on for almost a month just to get the message from another recruiter that the position has been filled. Entire company is a joke and I’m happy that I decided to move on once they didn’t reach back out to me. You guys knew who you wanted. Poor communication. DO NOT APPLY HERE
