I recently interviewed for an HR Recruiter position at CIEL HR Services Bangalore, and my experience was highly unprofessional. Initially, I was contacted by a recruiter, who scheduled a Google Meet for the first round. However, during this interview, I noticed an extreme lack of professionalism. She was giggling and making light of the conversation, which made the entire process feel like a joke rather than a formal interview. As a candidate, I expect a professional approach, but the way I was handled felt dismissive and disrespectful. Despite this, I proceeded with the process. After the first round, She discussed salary, joining details, and other formalities, making it seem like things were progressing positively. However, she later scheduled a “technical round”, which turned out to be anything but technical. This round, conducted by consisted of repetitive questions solely focused on my experience, despite the fact that I had applied as a fresher. Rather than evaluating my potential or skills, he kept pressing on past experience that wasn’t even relevant to the role. If the company truly wanted technical expertise, they should have conducted a proper skills-based assessment instead of misleading candidates. To make things worse, after discussing salary and joining details, I was suddenly rejected without a valid reason. When I asked for clarification, they failed to provide a proper explanation. This reflects poorly on their hiring ethics and transparency.
