warning, all the five star reviews are from employees that work with GN management. avoid this company and protect your peace of mind. I am currently leasing an apartment in jersey city and from day one I’ve experienced nothing but issues.
ISSUES:
-dirty unit upon move in, management (Arthi and Shashank) told me they would have the unit professionally cleaned but didn’t because they said “it looked clean” to them
-inoperable keyhole, management admitted they knew of this issue weeks before my move in and nothing about it
-electric issues, most outlets were unusable and breaker would consistently trip
-washer issues, hot and cold water valves were not connected
-garage entry always blocked, parking authority did nothing
-dishonest communication with management, would avoid my number but answer from a different number
-nonexistent maintenance, they would show up to examine the issues and never come back to resolve it
-I saw water damage in the both bathrooms ceiling and management said it was an issue that was resolved months ago. a few days later my upstairs neighbor used their bathroom and the sheetrock fell off and water is began leaking from my ceiling. they did nothing about it
-poor construction: paper thin walls/floor (I could hear my upstairs neighbor use the bathroom), kitchen cabinets don’t line up, tiles are wonky and lifted, caulking and sealer smeared on appliances, residue on walls, doors don’t close well or stay shut
It is becoming inhabitable and I have only lived here nine days. I cannot believe I am paying little under $3000/mo for a dirty, loud, and non working unit. GM Management does Nothing to correct their lack of inspection.
