Was contacted by Brinch & Partners both on LinkedIn and on the phone on 7 July and was encouraged to apply for a specific position, as I was informed that I had the correct CV etc. Was asked if I wanted an interview immediately or a screening on the phone was OK. I replied that it would be entirely up to Brinch what they wanted.
I am told that it will be up to 3 weeks before I hear anything – but that I have to go for an interview – that was for sure.
Since I do not hear anything after the 3 weeks – I get an impersonal reply on 24 August that there were many qualified applicants, among other things.
I then contact Brinch on the phone and am told that they have not actually landed a candidate yet.
Um – I wonder about the morals and ethics here?
