Rang them to find out information for a friend, got Ashley initially (who was lovely to talk to) who then handed me over to the lady in charge of the advertisement I was seeking information about.
Let me say that she sounded quite sour and seemed to not want anything to do with my enquiry and when asked came across with quite a hostile tone. Within 30 seconds of being transferred she had these abrupt parting words “Why don’t you get them to call me, bye”.
I wonder if she had considered if the person I was calling for wasn’t able to call her, hence why I was calling in the first place.
Hope she’s the only sour lemon in the recruitment department…

Rhonda Baker has been in HR when I first started mining over a decade ago! See is a hard lined, no nonsense professional who gets results!! She fully understands what is needed to fulfill each individual role in mining and is thorough in selecting the right candidate for the position offered. The underground mining environment is unique and not just for anyone! Rhonda knows this.. I see some people have made negative comments about Bowden Select… well.. if you’re offended by Rhonda.. that should be a clear indication you’re not suited for an underground working environment!! The industry should be grateful that it still has people like Rhonda Baker overseeing the recruitment process!!!!
