If I could give a zero for communication I would. Working with Robert Half has been a horrible, disappointing experience. Unfortunately, you may never get a response about a posting you’re interested in, even if you work directly with someone on their staff. There needs to be more communication once you are submitted for a role, they like to say IF you don’t hear from them, but that’s not an if – you won’t hear from the recruiter you are working with if the client passes on your profile. You may not hear from them again unless they have another role to share. Also, be prepared to be ignored or avoided when trying to get ahold of your contact by phone or email. Searching for a job in this current market is stressful, but working with this company makes it even worse. I always recommended RH to people who needed work but after months of getting the runaround and being ghosted after already expressing my concerns about my experience with someone directly, never again.
Update: was told to call their feedback line on this review and no one bothered to answer the phone. I won’t be leaving a message, this just reaffirmed that RH is a horrible agency to work with and they don’t care about helping job seekers. Most of their recruiters are unresponsive and just looking to add you to the list of applicants they reached out to (but didn’t actually assist).
