Update: please don’t fall for the okey doke. They are not in fact “eager” to change anything. My emails included all details of when the package was dropped off etc (before and after I was asked), so that they can see who moved or stole the package (whether it was management or a resident) and refuse to assist further.
Where do I start. “Luxury” is a stretch. They definitely charge luxury prices but realistically need to knock at least $500 off. A lot goes on in this building, whether it’s people having their cars broken into even when they parked in the “secure” garage, tenants coming out to the garage to tires missing off their vehicle all to be told that some cameras do not actually work, aggressive dog breeds that are “banned” running up and through this place, attempted apartment break ins for those on the ground floor, the “secured gate” not working consistently because it’s broken or someone has driven into it etc., leaky ceilings, people sleeping in the common areas over night, I even entered the hallway a few mornings to find a man cuddled up on the floor between my apt and my neighbors, sleeping!, no cameras in most of the hallways/stairwell, people smoking on the swing set, it’s a mess considering the price. I recently moved out and I placed a package at the front desk to return as I often do, in the spot I was told many times was designated for returns. This spot has a sign that says do not leave packages which I was told was for the carriers. I’d previously left packages there as told and even questioned the signed but again was told verbatim “that sign is for carriers” and the front desk took my package. Somehow UPS couldn’t locate the package for pick up so I contacted the office and instead of saying they checked the cameras and package room where they could have placed it, I was told “Sorry but we are not aware of any packages left for or by you.” This was a final response AFTER I provided all detailed info such as timing the package was placed at the front desk, etc. Because of the contents I now have to file a police report.
The maintenance and cleaning staff is great and they work hard.
Also to the comment that said people saw you at the front door and ignored you, that’s because residents do not want to be held liable for letting in people they do not know. Like I mentioned a lot goes on in this building.
Move in at your own risk.
