Today I got chased down a Park Lane by someone driving a Beacon Group Van. Reg beginning: NY08
I pulled out on to Park Lane when it was clear and the van was speeding so fast that it caught up with me quickly and beeped several times and loudly.
We continued driving and a man in the van came up beside me and honked his horn again, slowing when I slowed, speeding up when I sped, keeping level with me, intimidating me.
When I went ahead, he followed, levelled and honked his horn again to the distraction of everyone around him.
I was travelling with my small children in the car and it really unsettled me. Finally, thankfully, after a third time, he was forced to go through a light and I was relieved.
I understand you are a small, family-run business. But I don’t understand the business sense in you or one of your employees having road rage while driving a company-branded van?
I’m sure this happens frequently with anonymous people driving domestic cars, but surely you would not want to put the reputation of your company at risk by you or one of your employees having road rage in a van with your name on it.
