Took my girlfriend here for her severe back pain, which was referred to by staff at Medical City Healthcare in Plano. The woman at the front desk to do check-in was very friendly. As far as the rest of the staff…TERRIBLE. Just like other reviews left, the lack of empathy was far removed. We didn’t have images from the ER CT scan because none were provided to bring in. Upon them needing them, in other words, in a rude undertone from whatever the woman’s name was, we were told that she’d need to do a CT scan considering that it’s difficult to get records transferred to them. Which of course, it’s all a money grab regardless. Ironically, they’re inside of a Medical City Healthcare facility.. go figure. One woman did introduce herself, Margo, who’s not even listed on the website as a physician. She seemed clueless and probably high off of something (just my opinion), barely elaborating much of anything. We asked about a doctor’s note for work… somehow she didn’t have authority to do so, nor was she sure if she even could (was this her first day? How do you NOT know what you’re allowed and authorized to do?) saying that the MA wasn’t available, and she’d see if she could. Ask me if she ever came back 🤔… so as we’re waiting for a response from Margo, the first nurse came in to let us know that we’re ready to be checked out. Even being checked out seemed very lackadaisical and dry. Seems as if the staff has a lack of personality all together. Crazy thing is, when checking out, I saw a wheelchair in a room near the check-out, and scale is… Ask me if they ever offered one while we were there 🤔. Again, as someone else stated.. a waste of time, gas, and time taken off of work, to be passed around, and bullshitted. I’m sure I’ll get a response to this review as other people have, stating that “feedback is appreciated” and call Cheryl.. but in all honesty, if this isn’t the first review with similar issues.. what’s a phone call going to do to “make things right”? Train your staff, or hire better people.
