I am a job-seeker who started working with Aspen a few weeks ago. I’d never worked with such a company before. Last week, I worked with a DIFFERENT staffing company on another opening and found that Aspen really was above-and-beyond; my experience with the other company was DISMAL. The guy from Aspen’s competition asked exactly ONE question about me and did all the rest of the talking for thirty minutes. He did not share anything about the potential employer that I hadn’t already figured out on my own from their website. In stark contrast to that other company, I was so impressed with Aspen (Suzie) who really knew both sides thoroughly and helped me figure out if the job was one I wanted to pursue or not. I am also grateful to Aspen for helping me with my confidence level, which was low from having 18 years pass since my last job search. Suzie took much of the pressure off of me by explaining that interviews are no longer high-pressure, say-the-right-thing-to-be-hired-no-matter-what situations but, rather, information sharing opportunities by which both employer and employee learn whether or not they are a good fit. Win-win with a little help from Aspen Personnel.
