Wouldn’t do business at all with this place. I received a text from the regional director requesting me to come for an interview. The day before the interview, which was one of the worst snow days, he asked if I was still going to attend, and I confirmed. Upon arrival, it was clear he wasn’t pleased to see that I, a Black candidate, had the skills to interview for the job. His body language was off, and he seemed to think I was fooled by his fake smile. He mentioned he had begged me to come out in bad weather to talk for 15 minutes. It was obvious he wasn’t interested in the candidate, as he wasn’t saying much. When the interview ended, he walked behind me asking odd questions like, “Do you like your job?” If I didn’t, would I be here? He also mentioned the location in his region was struggling to meet goals, but with the games people like him play, it’s no surprise. Another silly question he asked was, “Are you from around here?”—something a local would never ask considering the location. Are these your regional directors? I wouldn’t recommend doing business with them, whether you’re looking to work as staff or in their corporate offices. This is business; unprofessional people or anyone outside my community could never get me in my feelings PS: you ask how you could do better. Stop wasting peoples time. Dont ask people you dont want to do business with to visit you lol. It wont help the candidate pool but aye stand on your hill alone if that is what you want to do
