If I could give this HOA a negative score, I would! Since the summer of 2024 (over a year at this point), I have requested approval to get a central air conditioning system in my 3rd floor apartment. It is the second year submitting an application for AC. The response this year is that they will begin creating a process to approve A/C systems. This is the best they can do. It’s extra hot on the 3rd floor and I have sent countless emails with no response since then. I would hate for them to get the bad publicity or press of suffering a heat stroke, especially after trying to get an A/C unit installed in my apartment for over a year. I guess my over $400 a month fee is all that matters to them. Or the $8,000 PER APARTMENT we are supposed to come up with in less than 2 months for the new roof of our apartment complex. (Where does the $400 each month go!?!) Also, they are quick to send me fees for any violation but can’t get back to me when I am trying to follow the rules. Profits over people.

Horrible service- great to charge you and horrible to get back to you when you need them. A simple thing such as installing an AC unit…takes more than a year- and I am still waiting confirmation. They are ‘developing’ a new process to install. I have sent countless messages, trying to follow guidelines…Stay away from this HOA!

I’ve been a tenant at VM in Redmond, WA for almost a year now, and while I truly enjoy the community and the condos themselves, the management—currently handled by NOVA—has been extremely disappointing. For over four months, I’ve been dealing with what appears to be a roof leak and ongoing bathroom issues. Despite multiple reports, the problems remain unresolved for me and my neighbor. Most recently, NOVA blamed me for a sink overflow incident—on a day when our entire building had no water service due to an error made by NOVA themselves, leaving over 180 apartments without water. When the water was finally restored that night (while I was not even home), the actual overflow happened in my downstairs neighbor’s unit. Still, I’m being held responsible. Tenants and owners alike are frustrated and tired of the lack of accountability, efficiency and poor communication. We love these condos, but we’re all hoping for a change in management—anyone but NOVA, and their discriminatory treatment to neighbors. Please think twice before renting or buying under NOVA management, READ THE REVIEWS. Until something changes, it’s not worth the stress. UPDATE 5/25/2025 .- Bathroom issues still almost 6 months ago, and the “efficient management” are competing for negligence between Nova and Tinali PM. Blaming each other while the residents suffer. Sorry for the owners, we the tenants, are living this place, and checking careful to never go to any place with #Tinali or #Nova property management. Update 7/8/25: The serious issues remain—bathroom problems, mold, and contaminated carpet. Now facing false accusations from HOA/NOVA, seemingly to protect their friends at Tinali Property Management, who are still withholding almost $5,000 of my deposit—far beyond (double) what the law allows in Redmond. Speaking up here has led to defamation and retaliation. Very disappointed and concerned until the last minute (moving out 5/31/25)
