Staff here are helpful and lots of services offered, but I am often frustrated because 60% of the time, the package drop box in the lobby is jammed and won’t open. I then need to wait in the same line as people applying for passports (which takes a long time) to simply drop off a package. PLEASE CREATE A DEDICATED COUNTER SPACE FOR PACKAGE DROP OFFS. Thank you.

As a drop-off location for pre-paid packages, this Post Office is very convenient. The line is frequently long and moves slowly, but the employees are deliberate about having one window designated as a package drop location. Everything gets scanned in relatively quickly. Parking is a bit of a mess, however.

The closing hours for this post office was 1:00 pm on New Years Eve. I was desperate to have some mail postmarked before the new year. I arrived at the post office and in the lobby 10 minutes before closing time and in line to see a cashier. The line was long and we were lined up in the lobby, but outside the second set of doors to get into the store area. At 5 minutes before 1:00 pm, a woman came out into the lobby and made an arbitrary line of where they would stop seeing customers. There were about 8 of us she cut off. If you are inside before closing time, they should see to you. The woman than went and locked the door into the lobby as well, so people could not even use the self-serve kiosk to buy stamps. They should not be able to lock doors before closing time.
