This place I highly recommend, very professional staff and environment, As a Veteran I feel welcome and they do actually help you.
The Veteran Section staff Ms. Blanco amdvother team members are great.
Very detail and resourceful, they actually do follow ups and are active to help you find employment and trainning, multiple opportunities, they have a resource room, no pressure very positive environment for veterans this place is a America Works Team.

Unprofessional when talking on the phone. The so called operator also doesn’t know how to answer a call, doesn’t give their name or say “please hold” (America Works, good morning this is so and so how may I help you?) or something along those lines. Also if you are leaving someone a message do not speak fast and please repeat the number twice so the recipient doesn’t have to listen to the message to figure out where to call.

I highly recommend. I went to them back in 2010 looking for a day job and going to school in Manhattan at night. They found me an office job in downtown NYC and I stayed with them for 10 years until I got laid off during the Covid pandemic. America Works really help you to find something 😊
