I had a highly disappointing experience with this agency, arranged through Jenny. They initially offered me a forklift (counterbalance) position, but the reality was far from what they promised. Although the job was advertised as an 8-5 shift, they required me to arrive earlier for an induction, which they never mentioned would be unpaid. When I arrived, I quickly discovered the job had nothing to do with operating a counterbalance forklift—and there was no induction at all. Instead, I was assigned to manually unload trucks using a hand pallet truck, with pallets weighing up to 500 kg. After almost unloading three trucks by hand, I was informed that I wouldn’t even be using the counterbalance forklift as promised. This experience was a complete waste of my time. I spent hours filling out paperwork, traveling to the job site, and working for about two hours, none of which was compensated. Either this agency intentionally misleads people, or they simply don’t verify the jobs they supposedly offer. The attached picture shows what a “counterbalance job” looks like to them. I doubt I’m the first to have been misled by their claims, but I certainly wasn’t desperate enough to continue working there for free. I didn’t receive even a penny for the time I spent, arriving early and working for two hours due to their mistake, not mine. They may be surprised to see a negative review, but welcome to the 21st century, where people have the right to review others’ work and hold them accountable for contractual obligations. The days of exploitation and forced labor are over. Next time make sure the job matches the description. I cannot recommend this agency to anyone. A well-deserved one-star rating.

Greatly disappointed. My first wage was paid to my previous bank even though I had visited the office to update my bank details with them. They couldn’t find the form. I had to supply them correct bank details for the second time and I had to use my own lunchtime correcting their mistake as well as 40 minutes on the phone to NatWest. Left after 3 weeks, returning back to my previous (and more professional) agency. The new manager comes across as rude and brusque.

After 6 months of working at Radio Design for minimum wages, my wife received a text last Friday afternoon that the contract had been terminated. Looks like this practice goes on quite a lot where they lure workers in and then drop them with zero notice. i am reporting this to HMRC as this practice is not right!
