l applied for the position of health care assistant at Advantage Angels. I provided all the required documentation, did the bulky online trainings. Buffy York was in charge of my recruitment. She told me she was going to apply for my dbs in November 2024. That was the last time I heard from her. I have sent a lot of emails, called the office lots of times no one seems to give me any reasonable information about why I am being ghosted. Till date I haven’t received any response from anyone. I had to quit my job because I thought I was going to work with them. It’s really sad that I have to go through so much pain and stress because of what Advantage Angel did to me. After writing the above review 👆, Buffy yolk called me and asked me to delete my review because she was sorry and had to go on emergency leave. I accepted her apology and deleted the review, but deep down I knew she was lying. She registered me for DBS, and one of them called me for identity verification and to know my uniform size( I have all the evidence). Thereafter I stopped hearing from them again, cycle repeated itself again. It’s been three months and I still have not heard from them. Please beware of this organisation. And to Advantage angel team, don’t contact me after seeing this review because I will come here to write more. Delete my details from your company’s account.

The embodiment of what is wrong in healthcare today. Staff are regularly punished for declining to travel long distances or cover specific shifts by not being offered any shifts. Clients are told specific staff are not available when they haven’t been contacted so the agency can control shifts. This results in clients frequently getting different staff to those expected. Nursing staff were offered the same job for almost 1/3 pay cut and the main client was blamed. Staff will not be given references, with no explanation, which seems to be out of spite for leaving.

I absolutely love this agency! Is trustworthy, great people to work for, always keeping their promises! Great communication skills, reliable and extremely friendly. I was working full time in healthcare and I was quite scared to join an agency, but I don’t regret my decision once. Definitely recommend this agency! ♥️
