June 12, 2024 Edit:
To respond to the Agency’s request to remove the review, I won’t. I spoke purely of my experience with the agency and nothing was defamatory. To make it clear, I’m not upset about not receiving the positions. What I am upset about is the lack of transparency and communication from the Agency and the refusal to provide copies of any documents that were signed, especially the arbitration agreement.
Initial Review:
When I first came into the office, I was denied having copies of anything I signed, including an arbitration agreement, despite politely asking and even asking for just a PDF version.
I received a last minute interview invite with the Client with no direction other than a time and an address (the building I needed to be in was on the other side of the campus.) and even after readjusting my schedule for it, no one at Advanced Staffing contacted me back regarding the interview – even after following up. If the Client wasn’t interested in a second interview or hiring, I should have been informed of that and it wouldn’t have been an issue!
I then interviewed for a paralegal position a few months later as it came across on Indeed and despite Tammy submitting me to the client, I followed up repeatedly only to receive no communication back from her. I checked the website today, only to find that the listing had been removed from the website. Shock and surprise, there was no communication from Advanced Staffing regarding this. A quick email/call/text could have sufficed.
Not only is the lack of communication a red flag, it’s bothersome to not be willing to give anyone a copy of the things they sign, especially when it’s important documents with sensitive information (banking information/social security number) and an arbitration agreement.
I’d avoid this place like the plague.
