Be professional.. If you take any interview, At least share the feedback with candidates. It doesn’t matter if he/she is shortlisted or not for that position but it’s your responsibility to share your feedback with candidates because he has wasted his time his money and offcourse transportation is not free. But from your feedback he can improve himself. And if you don’t have much budget for this position as per the candidate’s expectations then clearly tell them on first call only so he will not waste his valuable time.
