I have been with ACS for 3 years now. After 2 years, I asked for a raise and both my recruiter Stephanie and HR said ACS does not offer any incentive and I had to wait for the end of 3rd year (recompete). In the end, the organization I contracted out for did give me a raise but still nothing from ACS. Basically, whatever the rate they gave me initally is set for life. If you want any incentive (really it is just keeping up with the cost of living), they said there is no room for it. No additional vacations neither. From what I see, they make about 30-35%, with that said they do offer medical, dental and pay for taxes etc. But I wish ACS can think about building a long term relationships and offer something based on the loyalty with the company. I personally would want my recruit to improve her interpersonal skills and instead of flat out saying NO. At the end of the day, I feel like I am just a number. There are many other new staffing agency, it never hurts to look around before you sign up with ACS.

I am not sure how I got on their email list. Ii checked to see if I had a profile there but nothing. I applied for a recruiter role and got an email back the next day saying the were not interested. But yet it’s still being sourced. I just want to be taken off the generated emails. Thank you.

This company contacted me because they were interested in my resume which I posted online. The manager I ended up speaking with told me I had to have expirience In excel which I definitely do. She then argued that she would have seen it had it been in my jobs description rather than my list of skills and experience… she then went on to ask me the same 3 questions 5 times in a row. I ended up having to disconnect the call because it turned into an interrogation as if she didn’t believe that I had excel expirience. I am a student who had studied graphic arts and going to get my degree in IT I was over qualified for the job and she gave me such a hard time about submitting me for the position! I wasn’t going to beg to be paid $13/hr when I have been paid $15-$17/he with ease in the past. I’m not sure if it was just her but she was truly an odd individual and I was offended by then end of the call. She was hiring in Pittsburgh for the BkNY Mellon position. Can’t remember her name.
