Back in February my stepfather was discharged from hospital with an end of life care package and the company used was ACH Healthcare . I had not dealt with a person who was doubly incontinent neither was he sent home with any supportive equipment ie bedpads , incontinence pads , wipes … The two carers who came on that first visit were really fantastic . They cleared a good space for all the medicines , tidied up the kitchen so they could work in it and went to a chemist to get me what I needed . From that day on they have been so caring and helpful and the Manager has personally made herself available to me at just about any time . Nothing has been too much trouble at all …. my first port of call for many questions that have arisen . I have been so very grateful for all the support and chats needed to get through what has been a very trying time . My stepfather passed away recently and it was myself and the first lady carer who were with him together towards the end . He was calm and passed away at home which is exactly what he wanted . I shall always think of the people I came across in these recent months with great respect and affection and I thank you all . 🙏🏼🫶🏼😊
