I recently made the decision to switch jobs and applied to several companies via Naukri.com. During this process, ACE Consulting came across my resume and reached out to me regarding an opening that matched my profile. The vacancy was located around 300 km from my home. I received a call from Shreya Ma’am at ACE Consulting, who conducted an initial interview with me over the phone. Following this, I was shortlisted and invited for an in-person interview at the plant. I reached the plant as per the scheduled time, and the interview went very well. About a week later, I received an offer, and we engaged in some negotiation discussions. However, I was not entirely satisfied with the initial offer and expressed my concerns to Shreya Ma’am. After a few days, I received a final offer following a call from the plant for a final discussion. Throughout this process, ACE Consulting, especially Shreya Ma’am, maintained continuous follow-ups and provided excellent support, which I appreciated. However, there were a few aspects that could have been improved. Despite my repeated efforts to negotiate, the response regarding salary adjustments was not as favorable as I had hoped. Additionally, I later discovered that the company reimburses travel expenses for interviews, but this information was not communicated to me by the consulting team at the time. Furthermore, the calls and follow-ups were frequent until I joined the new organization, after which communication ceased abruptly. Given that I had other candidates who were also looking to make a job switch, I felt this sudden lack of follow-up was disappointing. In terms of the new position, after joining, I also realized that the living expenses here are significantly higher than what was initially communicated. While I am grateful to ACE Consulting for their efforts in connecting me to a role that fits my career aspirations, I hope future candidates receive a more transparent experience regarding all relevant details.
