From a drivers perspective Abacus are the best of the best. What I loved about them was they don’t trade on price, but service – so their clients are generally fully compliant small to medium businesses who care about their drivers and trucks (unlike the other agencies who under cut and leave you working on non compliant companies that put profit before safety). I have never had a single problem with an Abacus client and they have always been really flexible for me. My contact was Collette McCoy who was always very responsive and made you feel like she was working hard to get you assigned to a company. I’ve never had any problems with Abacus and I recommend them to serious, professional drivers who want a company that matches that professionalism.

I have recently joined Abacus and I have got myself a full time position immediately with them. Compared to other agencies they have been superb regarding friendliness, communication and professionalism. I agree with a previous review that you actually are made to feel that they work for you and not the other way round. It’s a mutual thing that makes me feel safe!

Terrible agency, I got an interview with a company and was told they would make a decision quickly… it’s now over a week and I have had to chase them to find out what was going on. Ignored my emails and never got back to me… very poor. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I at least deserved the courtesy of being told I hadn’t got the job!
