I’m writing this review to express my deep disappointment with my experience with Georgina, a recruiter I had high hopes for. At first, she was full of compliments and promises, painting a very positive picture of the process. However, after our initial conversations, she completely disappeared and never followed up as expected. What’s most frustrating is that she implied I wasn’t selected for a role because of my tattoos—only to later present another candidate with visible tattoos for the same position. Even more troubling, I later discovered that my CV was never shared with the brand at all. A few months after our last interaction, I received an email stating I wasn’t considered due to a “lack of luxury experience,” which is simply untrue as I have over four years of solid experience in the luxury industry. To make matters worse, someone within the brand itself told me they would have welcomed me without hesitation had they seen my profile. During my interview with Georgina, she was unprofessional—answering calls during our conversation, making me feel like an afterthought. Unfortunately, I later learned I wasn’t alone in this experience, as others have shared similar stories about her unprofessional and misleading behavior. I’ve since blocked her and will never work with this agency again. My advice: do not trust her approach. It was a frustrating, discouraging, and ultimately unfair experience.
