This agency was a complete nightmare. As I was new with receiving home health care, I did not know what their duties were. I was with an aide Marie who would leave me alone while she was on the clock. All she did was sit on her phone, and anything I asked her to assist me with, she would respond “that not my job”. Others have literally slept on my couch. I have actual videos of all of this. They don’t screen their aides for mental issues. I had one screaming and cussing at me because I called for her twice to come assist me with getting out of bed so I could get to a doctor appointment. Then I asked her to just leave because I couldn’t take her nasty attitude and cussing at me. She returned the next day after being told not to return to my home. She was told by the agency to drop my keys off at the agency. She came to my home and walked in and held on to my keys up where I could not reach them and began yelling and cussing at me again. I repeatedly asked her to get out of my house and she kept yelling so I rolled up to her in my wheelchair to at least try to get my keys and she physically pushed me. If I didn’t have wheels bars to prevent me from tipping over, I would have fell backwards and hit my head on my tile floor. The authorities and DCF were called. Have had several that didn’t speak English. When I called Quality and asked them why they would send me someone who doesn’t speak or understand English, the response was “we don’t actually see them in person. They can easily hand the phone to someone who does and they can pretend to be them”. I will never suggest that anyone use this agency. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I feel as if I don’t speak up, these aides will abuse others who don’t have a voice.
